It all began with Della Bodden.

Della’s Story

Pictured is our namesake, and the inspiration behind our foundation, Delphina “Della” Bodden. A mother to nine, grandmother to many, and friend to all. Della welcomed any and everyone into her home.

Della was wife to Navy MCPO Robert Bodden (Vietnam Veteran) and a mother to nine children, four of whom are U.S. Veterans (one of which has struggled with Houselessness and SUD). Because of her gentle, loving, and inclusive nature, she accepted many of her children’s friends as her own family throughout the years.

When a neighborhood parent wanted to know where their child was, it was a good chance that he or she was at “Della’s Place.”

Our Foundation strives to pass along this same compassionate sense of family and acceptance to our Country’s Heroes and others in need.

Bo and Yannie’s Story

Bo comes from a long line of Veterans, to include his brothers, uncles, father, and grandfather, who served in Vietnam as a Navy Medic. He has also personally served a combined 25+ years in the Air Force (AD/ANG/RES) and is currently serving as a Lt Col and Pilot in the USAF Reserves.

Yannie is a board-certified Nurse Practitioner and has been practicing medicine in the Las Vegas area as a Registered Nurse for 9+ years. Her attention to detail and compassionate care for others never go unnoticed.

Bo and Yannie believe they have a true calling and a duty to help Veterans and others who are in need and are willing and ready to receive the help they deserve.
