Della’s Place Foundation and all of its representatives strive to uphold the National Alliance for Recovery Residences Code of Ethics. All representatives of our homes have signed and pledged to follow this code of ethics.
Safety
It is our goal, here at Della’s Place Foundation, to provide a safe, homelike environment while maintaining a sober living environment. We also strive to maintain an environment that promotes the peace and safety of the surrounding neighborhood and the community at large. .
Professionalism
Our operations are based in professionalism and strive to sustain transparency in operational and financial decisions. Della’s Place Foundation representatives maintain clear personal and professional boundaries and operate within the residence’s scope of service and within both professional training and credentials. We decline taking a primary role in the recovery plans of relatives, close friends, and/or business acquaintances.
Privacy
We recognize that no two journeys are the same and honor each individual’s right to choose their recovery paths within the parameters defined by the residence organization. We will continue to protect the privacy, confidentiality, and personal rights of each resident to the best of our abilities. .
Fair Treatment
We make sure to address each resident fairly in all situations and will always take appropriate action to stop intimidation, bullying, sexual harassment and/or otherwise threatening behavior of residents, staff, and visitors within the residence. We will also take appropriate action to stop retribution, intimidation, or any negative consequences that could occur as the result of a grievance or complaint. Della’s Place Foundation also provides consistent and uniformly applied rules.
Individuality
Diversity & individuality is highly valued by Della’s Place Foundation. Thus, we assess each potential resident’s strengths and needs, and determine whether the level of support available within the residence is appropriate. We provide an environment in which each resident’s recovery needs are the primary factors in all decision making.
Health & Wellness
Our main goal is to provide for the health, safety and welfare of each resident. Thus, we encourage residents to sustain relationships with professionals, recovery support service providers and allies and ensure that consistent, fair practices for drug testing are provided in order to promote the residents’ recovery and the health and safety of the recovery environment.
